Fast, upright-growing, deciduous tree is a hybrid of the Acer palmatum and Acer circinatum. It is commonly known as the Herbstfeuer maple means autumn fire. It is prized for its brilliant fall foliage and attractive all-season look. Which is colored in between light green in spring turns green in summer & then turns red, yellow, and orange in fall. The leaves are palmate, meaning they have five to seven lobes that spread out like fingers on a hand. The growth habit is decidedly upright when young, becoming more rounded with age. Typically grows to a height of 16-20 feet and width of 4 -6 feet within 10 years. Prefers moist, well-drained soil in partial shade to full sun. It is a popular tree for landscaping and is often used as a focal point in gardens and parks.
