An upright dwarf deciduous tree with a compact, rounded habit and delicate, lacy foliage that emerges with a bright green color in spring, transforms into a deep green in summer, and changes to a mix of orange and yellow in the fall. And small green flowers in spring are followed by winged, red fruit in autumn.

‘Pixie’ typically grows to a height of 8-10 feet and 6-7 feet wide. It prefers a partially shaded location with moist, well-drained soil that is slightly acidic. ‘Pixie’ is a low-maintenance tree that requires minimal pruning and attention, making it an excellent choice for small spaces, rock gardens, or as a focal point in a mixed border planting.
